A lifetime of learning things the hard way so that others don't have to

Curtis was born and raised outside of Wichita, Kansas on a ranch. After a fatal car crash in 2008, Curtis's mindset and beliefs were transformed dramatically.

Curtis' business career began working at a large western retailer near Ft. Worth. In 2010 Curtis purchased his first investment property that he didn't realize was an investment property until he read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and his mind was awoken to a whole new world of possibilities. On a whim, he put his current house up for rent and it was rented in less than a week. From there, Curtis decided to move to OKC to pursue a career in construction. He was the logistics coordinator for a large oil & gas and dirt work construction company where he oversaw up to 40 workers on dozens of job sites day to day.

His time working for this company gave him his first experiences in managing people, solving difficult problems, and understanding what it takes to grow a company.

His interest in real estate drew him to get his real estate license in 2013, but he never intended to have a full time career in real estate. In his first full year as a licensed Realtor, Curtis sold just under 50 properties. He went on to grow a real estate team that was in the top 1% of real estate teams in the state of Oklahoma for 3 years in a row.

Curtis' passion for real estate investing led him to co-found a Real Estate investment firm with his business partner in early 2017. That business primarily focused on helping people find cash flowing properties in OKC, then later added property management and project development to their list of businesses. Curtis exited that company in late 2019 to begin coaching and training sales people in all different industries. Today, Curtis’ focus is on helping people grow themselves to be able to take control of their lives and improve their sales.

“A train on rails moves fast and has direction. Without correctly placed 'rails' in our lives, it’s difficult to move fast in the proper direction.”
